Meet the Lappies
and Brandi and Mia
Kalie
The first Lappy in the family.
She was a beautiful puppy. She was born to be a therapy dog as she has a gentle demeanor and people relate to her. She is a wonderful mother and took great care of her puppies when they were young. Kalie gives great kisses and loves to cuddle.
He is very energetic and handsome.
He constantly wants to play with his best friend Brandi, but still takes time to give kisses to Kalie, his puppies, and his human family. He loves to sit on top of an armchair and survey his kingdom from the window. A neighborhood child once said she wanted to cuddle and hug the black bear with the white mittens.
Komi
Snowy
She has seven brothers and was the only girl born to Kalie and Komi.
Snowy is smaller than her brothers, but her determination ensures she is never behind. She is a spunky girl. She loves to prance around the house with her head and tail held high and loves to lick everyone.
He was the firstborn puppy.
Like his father, he sits on top of a chair and watches his brothers and sister play. He likes to play hide and seek with Chris and will jump out and lick him when found. Jallo loves receiving attention from everyone he meets.

Lumi
He can open doors with his paws and leads his brothers and sister when exploring.
The little white mark on his nose was the result of playing with his brothers. Lumi is very affectionate and is happy to greet everyone.
He is natural leader.
He ensures that everyone stays in line and things do not get too rowdy when he and his brothers and sister are playing. Meeko loves to sit next to people and be petted.

Kaepo
He is very sensitive and gentle.
He runs in circles and barks at his brothers and sister to get attention. He has a tuxedo and white markings on his paws like his father. He also has the best head tilt. Kaepo loves to give kisses.
He can jump the highest of any of his brothers and sister.
He is always ready to play and has tons of energy. When asked to do something he does not want to do, Tahvo rolls on his back with his paws in the air and barks.

Leif
He is the youngest.
The veterinarian told the family there would be seven puppies. Everyone was surprised when No. 8 was born. Leif is so much fun and very loving.
He resembles a little stuffed animal.
Like his mother, he loves to cuddle. He is smaller than many of his brothers, but like his sister he is determined and full of energy. Jan Eric’s kisses make everyone laugh with joy.

She was adopted at a rescue event. She was initially very scared and kept to herself.
Over the years, she has become a loving companion to our family and is gentle and kind with all the Lappies. If you hold your arms out, she will jump into them for a hug. Brandi and Komi love to wrestle and play.
Brandi
She was living on the streets of Chicago and was taken in by a local shelter. Three months later she found her forever home.
She lives with her loving Mom, Lindsey Belvis, Dad, brother, and fellow rescue, a 9-year-old Border Collie named Charlie. Mia is the inspiration for Esperanca.
